Leadership Team (Board Member)

Join NICA’s leadership circle and help shape the future of intentional community in the Northwest. As a board member, you’ll be part of a small, all-volunteer team that collaborates to guide our programs and gatherings, particularly our seasonal Community Gathering events. There’s no rigid structure—we welcome people who are self-directed and ready to step in where their time, energy, and skills are most useful.

Expectations

  • Attend monthly Zoom meetings

  • Participate in discussion and decision-making

  • Help brainstorm, plan, or support community gatherings

  • Step into other areas as interest and capacity allow

Time Commitment

Hybrid – Mostly remote via Zoom, with optional in-person participation at gatherings.

  • Monthly virtual meetings (about 1.5–3 hours)

  • Additional hours during event planning seasons

  • No term length—stay as long as you’re interested and feel you can contribute
